I have many interior design books. Most are akin to showing super models wearing designer clothes – beautifully proportioned houses in beautiful locations with limitless budgets. The results are stunning but unattainable for most people. Many books don’t even bother to explain why they did certain things in a certain way.
This book is more like a manual to show a girl next door how to shop from the high street and look pretty. Although the interiors displayed are not drop dead gorgeous, they are still more than desirable and, most importantly, achievable.
