A great read, very entertaining and a real insight into Brian’s early life, early music career and early days in AC/DC.
Unlike some rock n roll autobiographies you might read, this one contains some really humourous moments, and a real sense of humility.
Having seen AC/DC live at Donington in ’91 I can’t wait to read the next instalment.
Also having seen Muse live at Reading in ’17 I’d just like to say, Brian if you
ever read this review, it was an absolute joy to see you perform that night, your excitement, humility and gratitude shone through and I was so happy for you to be back on stage.
    Rock on ????

Of all the biographies I’ve read, this blows the rest away! Hilarious one moment then tears in your eyes the next! A hard working lad from just down the road. It was made all the more special, hearing the name Dave Black mentioned several times, another great bloke with whom I occasionally performed alongside and definitely deserved a mention, RIP Dave! The entire book was a trip down memory lane, from Brian’s upbringing locally to the huge career which I’ve followed since just before Back in Black! Honestly written, from the heart and I didn’t want it to end. I’ll have to reread! Keep on rocking Brian and thank you for the music

Good storyline and great reading about his early days too. Probably a bit biased as he came to Newcastle games with me and Davy Whittaker a long time ago.

This is a wonderful read. A dozen pages in and I didn’t want to put it down. I have never been a great believer in fate but this book has left me wondering. Imagine, you have given up on the music industry and you have settled for 9-5 and your job is a mobile windscreen fitter. And then one day you are called out to renew the screen of a big black car and everything changes. The chances have to be a million to one.
Read the book and you will understand.

Not especially AC DC fan was amused and entertained by this. Shows the journey that rock has allowed a few to make and us mortals to read about.
