I’ve only discovered recently the excellence of Powell and Pressburger, thanks to Colonel Blimp & A Matter of Life and Death (just a note: get a Region Free Blu-ray player and buy the Criterion Collection Region 1 releases) so this is a great companion.

The book I received was not the original Faber & Faber publication. It is a small, cheap desktop facsimile. Dense text and very poor quality, scanned photos. And at eighteen quid a shameless rip-off. I will be returning my copy to Amazon. Avoid at all costs.
