It’s a good reference book but not too much of a tutorial. It’s well-written but it has the usual 2022 syndrome of being a printed PDF. The general layout, font sizes etc. are not super pro. It’s still very usable but the printing quality is not the best.
Anyway, it’s a good reference book for the beginners, if you feel a bit at loss among thousands of youtube videos. Honestly, I didn’t use it all that much, only to clarify a few things as a beginner. But it has the advantage of being a good reference, when you forget about a specific shortcut, or how this or that function works.

As previously mentioned, it has not the best typography and the reproduction of the screen displays can be difficult to read. However, it is well written and perfect for anybody starting Blender from scratch. I suspect it will be well used and frequently referenced in conjunction with the screen display on my Mac.
Certainly, the many impressive examples of Blender graphics on the Internet are a good indication that getting to know how to use this free program is a worthwhile endeavour.

Bought for my son who uses blender. He was delighted with it. Big book, think it has a few hundred pages, all very clearly laid out.

For the fun to be had in this 3-d design software, it is worth investing in such a book. Lots of graphics per page ensure easy to understand instructions. Extra information is provided which is helpful for those less familiar with the general processes of computers such as file types, directories and folders.
