Lovely and easy to make dishes.

Lovely hardcover book. Have enjoyed flicking through the pages. The pictures look “real” and “honest” and the recipes are easy to follow, especially for someone like me who isn’t an advanced baker at all. The babyleaf cake is so unusual but so so yummy!

The book is quite good but is written in very small writing and ia difficult to read

Fantastic tasty meals

The great thing about the other cook books in this series is that they (mostly) are made in one tin.
Perhaps I had unrealistic expectations, but I was looking for sweet recipes that were made in a creative ‘one tin’ fashion, but actually these are just standard cakes/ flapjacks. I see now that while yes they are baked in one tin (What cakes are not baked in one tin? What biscuits are not baked in one tin?) they still require the usual multiple bowls/ melting pans/ icing mixes that any other cake/ biscuit recipe would need. Therefore: buy this for the flavour combos, not the ‘one tin’ magic!
I have returned as I already have loads of cakes/ biscuit recipe books.

Easy one tray desserts. Great book!

I love these Roasting Tray books and the recipes in this one sound delicious but in my opinion they’re not very suitable for diabetics. You may be able to substitute the sugar with erythritol for example but there are too many carbohydrates from the flours used. It would have been helpful if flour substitutes were included to make them truly diabetic friendly.
