Bought this for my wife and she likes the recipes and history but feels it would benefit from pictures.

I think I may have had a previous version of this book years ago. It’s a fantastic resource if you want to do more home cooking. I also like that there are ways to substitute ingredients and information about how to cook, bake, boil etc.

This book is the best basic cookery book I know off. Alot of very simple things to much more complicated but this the only recipe book that I know where all the recipes work. I highly recommend and often give for engagement or wedding presents.
