My daughter loves these books
by Jesy Fundora
My 4yo son already has the Dinosaur and Dragon books, and loves them, so when I saw this I preordered it. Arrived today and he was so excited when we opened it. We read it before bed and he drifted off to sleep a very happy little boy.
The book is beautiful, with the same textured/raised, glittery (don’t worry, it doesn’t come off and go everywhere) details like the others in the series. It’s a lovely little story, Poppy is so cute. If you like the “10 minutes to bed” adventures of Rumble & Flash, you like this too. We’ll be buying the rest, 1 a month, til we have the full series. Absolutely love them.

We have all the stories in this collection so naturally purchased this one to continue the set. It follows the same countdown theme as the other stories which are loved in our house. However, for us this one doesn’t hit the same standard as the other stories. My children hardly request this one compared to the others. It’s a nice story just not as good as the other ones.

Such a lovely story my daughter has all of these books and she enjoys me reading them daily

My daughter (aged 4) is obsessed with the 10 minutes to bed books and this one is by far her favourite, she even asks me to change the name to hers because she was to be a fairy just like poppy????
It’s easy to read as an adult and I didn’t stumble on my words like some other books I have read.
Definitely recommend for anyone with young kids

This is a very popular series with both my youngest and my Reception class alike. We have all of them and, although this latest installment doesn’t rank among my personal favourites (I prefer the flow of the original Twinkle the unicorn adventure, and the one about the mermaid), the children seem to enjoy them all equally.
I like that Poppy the fairy has learn to believe in herself and face her fears in this latest book, as the familiar countdown to bedtime begins. For me, the flow isn’t quite as good as the above mentioned stories, but it’s still a lovely book for the 2-5 age group. I highly recommend the series.

Gorgeous stories beautifully written and illustrated, just perfect for young children. Great for aged 3 upwards.
