Percy Jackson – now in stunning graphic novel form!
Look, I didn’t want to be a half-blood. I never asked to be the son of a Greek God. I was just a normal kid, going to school, playing basketball, skateboarding. The usual. Until I accidentally vaporized my maths teacher. That’s when things started really going wrong. Now I spend my time fighting with swords, battling monsters with my friends, and generally trying to stay alive.
This is the one where Zeus, God of the Sky, thinks I’ve stolen his lightning bolt – and making Zeus angry is a very bad idea.
Can Percy find the lightning bolt before a fully-fledged war of the Gods erupts?

I love and live Percy jackson, it is my comfort series! The comic is good as you’re able to imagine it more and see the images, put the story together in your own way, however it is a short comic and stuff does get left out that was in the original book which was a bit disappointing but I still enjoyed it! Recommend for 12+ or just any PJO fans

I’d been hunting for a while for a book that would grip reluctant readers – something that was challenging but at the same time accessible and this fit the bill!
I’m a big fan of the Percy Jackson series anyway, but the books are daunting for reluctant readers and quite tricky reads. This graphic novel told the same story but in a much clearer, easy to follow way. The pictures complement the story perfectly, narrating some events without the need for words. In essence it simplifies the plot and makes it clearer what happens.
I’d recommend this for children and adult alike – a very enjoyable book!

My daughter loves these graphic novels. She started with the Alex rider set and is now reading these ones. Great as gifts or stocking fillers at Christmas

A fantastic graphic book for children who are dyslexic and find reading a traditional book too challenging and so don’t read. My son is eleven and this is the first book he has read since picture books as a young child. It has been great to see him with his nose in a book and not be able to put it down!

Amazing artwork to go with an already amazing story.

What was there was good and the illustrations were good but so much action was missed out like medusa, the waterbed, the casino was really short and lots of the funniest dialogue was cut.
Overall it is a good summary and not as disappointing as the film but it could have been more detailed.
