Sweet Little Lies: Someone’s lying. Who? And why? (Ted Darling Crime Series Book 21)

£2.80

DCI Ted Darling hates being lied to.

When he finds out by chance that an officer lied to him in a previous case he demands an explanation. He’s not prepared for being told he must be a lousy boss if he wouldn’t do the same to protect one of his own.

Then a person close to him is falsely accused of a serious crime.

Ted has a moral mountain to climb to answer the burning question: are there any circumstances where he would condone a lie to protect someone else?

Another brilliant piece of writing telling a great story. There is always something to learn in Lesley’s books and her choice of subjects are always so thought out and well written and are totally absorbing. Roll on Ted 22.

The latest in the Ted Darling books, and doesn’t disappoint. I was on tenterhooks from the first to last word. If you have not read any of these books, and want to get thoroughly immersed in the plot, the characters (who become like old friends) I envy you starting out. Beautifully written, hard hitting storylines. What more could any crime fiction addict ask for.

Yer another fabulous book from L M Krier. Some interesting twists & turns in the story. A compelling read like all the other books in the series & a real page turner

I’ve no idea how she does this but once again Lesley has had me gripped from beginning to end. It’s so good to be back with the familiar characters even though this one was quite shocking. No wonder I can’t get off to sleep. I now have to wait for number 22. Highly recommended.

Once again Ms Krier has hit the nail on the head with her topicality. It opens up all sorts of possibilities, good and bad. I confess to being addicted to this series and this book doesn’t disappoint. I can thoroughly recommend it (and the 20 which came before it – I would suggest reading in order if you can, as some threads move from book to book).

I absolutely loved it, I couldn’t put it down, finished it last night, I’ve lost sleep over it, reading until 2AM most nights, but it was worth it.can’t wait until the next one comes along.smashing book.

In a surprise to absolutely nobody, another excellent offering about the darling tha is Ted and the rest of his team. LM Krier manages to source a different kind of crime for each book which this far into the series is no mean feat! Another one that cab be read as stand alone but if you’re new, I’d start at book 1.
