Bertram Drake, international man of mystery, leads a double life. By day he is the council’s most valuable pawn, but by night he is a traitor, aiding and abetting the dangerous leader of the organization looking to undermine dragon society—a man who goes by the name of Raven, and who is none other than the father of Bertram’s children and his beloved mate.

Kept from his family by his dangerous wild magic, Sorin is a man on a mission. As Raven—the leader of the Vanguard—his life’s purpose is to save and rehabilitate the omegas being mistreated by their cloisters, but when an unexpected discovery puts all Pedigree omegas in mortal peril, his goals shift. He must do whatever it takes to ensure no omega ends up suffering like him.

Even if it means playing the part of the villain and severing ties with his mate.

Heartbreaking and heartwarming, a great end to the series. Covered so much from the other books, shedding light on the many storylines’ progression.

I’m a huge fan of this series and absolutely loved and enjoyed all the books.
The timeline of this story gives us another perspective on events from earlier books, which was interesting and well done.
This book seemed like the emotions ran a little deeper and I really felt for Sorin and Bertram.
I will definitely read this entire series again.

Bertram and Raven’s journey to their HEA wasn’t an easy one. Bertram struggled between his duty to his clan and his heart. He sacrificed so much unlike his brothers who got to live their lives with their love.

Raven had so much healing to do. Time apart from Bertram and the trauma he suffered in his past made him the person he became. He needed support, love and understanding. Getting a chance to tell his side was a major step for him.

By the end of this book, I was seriously crying – happy tears of course. If anyone deserved a well earned HEA, it was these two.

*I voluntarily read this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s*

I’ve followed and loved this whole series although it gets progressively darker. Really wanted Sorin and Bertram to get their happy ever after – but they have to go through so much to get there! My heart broke for everything Sorin especially had to go through. I’d have loved to see the people who did him wrong get their comeuppance. But loved it anyway.

I can’t believe that this intense, drama packed series has come to an end! It is fantastically written by these amazing authors, bringing much needed resolutions and conclusions for all of the men involved but especially so for Bertram and Sorin who we have followed in this two part finale.
This second part of the book starts off where we finished part one, with the shock and outcry when Alistair first produces a clutch with Nate in book one of the series. Bertram and Sorin are kept apart by an ocean, politics and secrecy with more piling on top. The Vanguard, the council and the Drake family all have a vested interest in the outcome of the Pedigree, what happens with the omegas who are forced to bear eggs for the dragons, and Bertram ‘finding’ Sorin to bring him to justice. Events lead to the unraveling of connections, mental health and more family drama.
I am so happy with how the story unfolds and concludes, both for the characters and for the overall story that we have been following since book one of the series. It shows the growth of the alpha dragons we’ve come to know, the connections built between the omegas who find themselves mated and loved on by said dragons, and an evolving family dynamic that Bertram and Sorin could only ever dream of. I also found the writing of the MC’s mental health to be excellent, able to really feel the pain that Sorin experienced when alone and the joy of when they are together.
I cannot recommend this series enough. I’d highly recommend reading the whole series in order but at a minimum Raven part one and two in order.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.
