How To Wreck Your Business: It’s the story EVERY business owner NEEDS to read. The mistakes made here were ALL avoidable.
£1.90
My business FAILED as I was not prepared for the Financial Crisis of 2008, as a result I paid a VERY heavy price for that. DO NOT make the same mistakes I did.
“How To Wreck Your Business” is not a book you will WANT to read, it’s a book you will NEED to read. The mistakes I made were ALL avoidable.
It looked like the ultimate success story, and in many ways it was. This is what I refer to as the “Illusion of Wealth.” Looks can be very deceiving.
This is the story, a true story, a horror story, that saw Scotland’s largest independent chain of print centres collapse on the business’s 20th Birthday.
This book shares the amazing highs, the hull-crushing lows, and the sudden, spectacular crash of a business, which at its peak had half a million pounds of cash (GBP£) in the bank and a £1.4m portfolio of properties.
It’s a must read for every business owner. Eight errors were all it took to start “The Perfect Storm.”
How many of those errors could you be making?

There’s an avalanche of business books out there telling you what to do better…but in the days of Corona this books tells you about the fundamental mistakes that can lead to destruction of a perfectly viable business. A must read for any business owner
by Graham Hunstone
If your a business owner or thinking of starting a business then you MUST read this book. Stuart talks very openly of the good times and the bad times of running a multi million pound business with the purpose all along being “don’t make the same mistakes” but, in a fun, honest and straight to the point kind of way.
I have been running my own business for over 10years now and I took away numerous nuggets that I will be implementing in my business (as soon as covid has done one)
Cost me £9.99 and 1 week of reading but I believe will add value of tens of thousands of pounds….actually scrap that….. some of the things in this book may just save my business one day!
Great And enjoyable read!

If you own a business, this book should be made a compulsory read for you. One of the nest, practical business books that I’ve read.
by Graham Hunstone
I cannot explain how refreshing I found this book.
Often business books talk all about what you HAVE to do for a successful business – well this book flips that on its head. The author is so honest about ALL the mistakes made in his business that you cannot help but sit up and take notice. Lot’s of humour and examples thrown in for good measure makes this a really readable book.
Totally recommend to anyone on a business journey.

“How To Wreck Your Business” is an absolute gem of a book that every business owner should have on their shelf. This captivating story takes you on a rollercoaster ride through the ups and downs of a business’s journey, showcasing the critical mistakes that could have easily been avoided.
The storytelling is impeccable, making it an engaging and informative read. The author’s ability to dissect each blunder and highlight how things could have gone differently is nothing short of brilliant. It’s like having a mentor by your side, guiding you away from the pitfalls that can spell disaster for any business.
I found this book not only highly educational but also strangely reassuring. It reminds us that mistakes happen, but with the right knowledge and guidance, we can navigate through them and come out stronger on the other side.
If you’re a business owner or aspiring to become one, “How To Wreck Your Business” is a must-read that will provide you with invaluable insights, helping you steer clear of the common errors that can lead to failure. I can’t recommend it enough!

A business book that makes you smile and laugh out loud. Sound business advice delivered with honesty, humility and humour.
There is a saying that it is a wise man that learns from his mistakes and an even wiser man that learns from the mistakes of others. Stuart is refreshingly honest about the mistakes he made first time round and I think they are mistakes that any of us could/would make/are making. With this book Stuart gives us the opportunity to be “wiser” and learn from his experiences.
There is a quote towards the end of the book “Take advice from someone who has done it and not simply read it” and I think this sums up the book very well.
Also made a bit more interesting if you know the Glasgow Barras or the attraction of Forfar McDonalds after a full day’s work in Aberdeen.
