My review maybe slightly bias as I am one of the authors in the book. This is not your standard business book. Don’t get me wrong, there is so much advice, experience and knowledge in the book that it is really one of the best out there. What makes it different, is the way each author conveys their knowledge. Some chapters are direct with lists of things that are important when running a business or exploring a particular business process. Other chapters are more personal, with stories of failure along with successes. Some are a real emotional roller coaster. Having run my own business for 17 years, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I gained from reading the book, those little golden nuggets of information. Whether you or someone you know is looking to start a business or having been running a business for 2 or 20 years, there is something in here for everyone. Highly recommended!

This book is like having a cheering squad for you and your business.

I’m a firm a believer in synergy – that the whole is greater than the sum of the individual parts – and this book is a shining example of that. One person cannot possibly be an expert in all the topics covered by the individual contributors to this book, so to find 20 business experts willing to pool their knowledge and expertise in one place is an absolute tour de force.
Whether you are starting out in business, or need a bit of a refresher, this book is just what you need. Written by women who have been there, learned the hard way, and got the Tee shirt, the advice and information given is proficient and focussed, providing a genuine learning experience. The case studies are honest and authentic providing the opportunity to avoid the mistakes made by others. The topics covered don’t just stop at technical subjects, but also cover mindset, self care and even going beyond self-employment and entrepreneurship and into the realms of multiple income streams.
Overall, the book is well written, easy to read and a great resource for anyone in business or thinking about setting up their own business. It is highly unique in the business book genre and I can thoroughly recommend it.

Business books can be cold and flat, but the Women’s Business Network Guide to Becoming a Successful Entrepreneur changes that! This is a fabulous book packed with sound advice, real-life stories, and honest accounts of life as a small business owner.
Each chapter is told by a different author with a unique spin on their topic of expertise. From The Importance of Having a Business Plan through to Mindset and Storytelling. 21 authors with life and business experience sharing the ins and outs of being an entrepreneur.
It’s a brilliant resource for anyone considering starting a business, but it’s also a reminder to entrepreneurs and solopreneurs worldwide that we’re not alone!
Highly recommended.

I’m not really interested in business books, but reading this was very different indeed. It’s a collaboration between various business experts who came together under the guidance of Sharon Louca and produced an easy-to-read guide for anyone who’s thinking about starting a business, has had a business for a while, or is a seasoned business owner.
The quality of advice and guidance within these pages is exceptional and incredibly easy to follow and to understand, with not a single lukewarm chapter. The depth of knowledge of the authors is reassuring and the design of the book allows the reader to dip in at any point to gain insight into whatever area of business is needing attention or future planning.
I don’t believe that any one person could know everything contained in this treasure of a book, which is why this combination of so many years’ wisdom should be in everyone’s library. I really can’t recommend it highly enough.
