With surprises tucked behind 24 doors, this Christmas-themed advent calendar is charming and a nice change from the traditional chocolate advent calendars which are not always suitable for everyone.
This set isn’t suitable for kids under 3 due to small parts.
The box itself is a reasonable 38cm x 26cm in size, making it easy to store. But the real fun begins after all the doors have been opened. You can take apart the Christmas-themed toys and create your own festive creations. It’s a great way to get the family’s creative juices flowing.
It’s a fun and educational way to count down to Christmas.

I got this for my daughter and it’s a fun Christmas Calendar that makes a nice difference to the normal chocolate ones.
Doors run sequentially from 1 to 24, (so no hunting for them – not sure if that’s good or bad), but on opening a door, some building blocks are revealed that can then be used to create some of the christmas themed builds.
I had a sneak peak at all of them by opening the bottom calendar seal, opening the cardboard flap and sliding the plastic tray out (see my photos). Each building block is individually sealed and housed in this plastic tray, with some bags having instructions for the build.
The only problem I can see is that she’ll want to do the build as soon as getting the door open and on school mornings, getting ready time is a precious commodity.

This is a nice interactive alternative to a standard chocolate advent calender. You get a large box with 24 doors in numerical order. Each door houses a little sealed plastic packet with all the building blocks you need for your first festive creation. The instructions are straight forward and the bricks are of adequate quality. My favourite thing about this is that every four builds can be then deconstructed to make a larger festive creations. So you instead of 24 christmassy builds there is the potential to make 28. The designs are super cute and I like the fact that this is a very engaging advent calendar.

For the price, this is great value but, it is certainly not LEGO quality and nor would I expect it to be. The individual pieces are a mix of transportation and dinosaurs – an odd combination but not one my little one hasn’t enjoyed. Each day brings a new build and though they are OK, they don’t always seem to fit together well or stay firmly, meaning a bit of glue may be needed to keep them in one piece. Overall, for the price, it’s a great block themed advent calendar and my little one loves his dino/transport builds.

We absolutely love this advent calendar as each day gives you a new construction to build. There are lots of teeny tiny pieces which are a little hard to press on without breaking the bit’s already built. Easy to follow instructions with step by step picture instructions. A great way to build up to the excitement of Christmas. We’ve been building early so we are able to give an honest unbiased review.
This is good value for money and the piece are also compatible to be used with the leading brand.
The calendar itself is bright and engaging. Perfect for any Lego fan

I love that this advent calendar gets kids thinking and using their brain.
Not only is there a daily object to make – it some of these can be combined to make a larger item as well.

This is an attractive dinosaurs and cars advent calendar, I haven’t given it to my son yet as I will wait till December.
I have had a good look though, the packaging and the contents look great. The contents are fantastic, all the bricks are bright colors and well made. I know it is going to keep the little one occupied for hours.
I can recommend this product to all the kids who loves dinosaurs and cars.

Christmas Advent Calendar Building Blocks Set.
The set arrives boxed and has perforated number door to open each day containing a brick toy and instruction leaflet for 24 days.
The outer box is 38cm x 26cm so a nice large size. The box has a fold over flap to prevent any windows tearing during transit.
Once all the doors have been opened you can take all your small brick Christmas themed toys apart to build a bigger Christmas themed toy which included Reindeer, sleigh, candy shop mug and a winter cottage.
What a delightful treat for a child that they still get a surprise build to make after the 24th day.
This is a brilliant little set and I would recommend with confidence.
