I read this within three sittings. It is very informative but simple to read. Plenty of valuable information and teaches you the basics of investing. This book is ideal for women and has some concerting statistics within. I truly felt disappointed to get to the end of the book, overall a great read. I’ve told my closest friends to read it and bought my sister a copy too!

It’s a great book for someone that would like to understand basic concepts to start investing. All women should read it.

I can literally stop and start this without feeling like I do with regular books/info, which involve me feeling like I need to read a whole chapter to feel accomplished.
Great quality book, giving me some hope that I could actually not be scared about investing in the near future!
A great read for mid-teens, too – gives valuable information about finances and would help to set their mindset about money. I never had a ‘talk’ about finances with my parents when I was a teen. It wasn’t really a subject they had much more knowledge on themselves. So if you’re not sure how to broach this subject, buy this and read it together!

This was a helpful and insightful book, as a young woman working in financial services I am passionate about bringing more people (and particularly young women) along the journey in taking control of their finances.
In terms of recommendations and feedback, there were some sweeping statements made early in the book, which I feel would have benefited from citing the source material/study to add a little more support and strength to the points being made.

Bought this book on a bit of a whim the day before it was published because I want to get on top on my finances and start investing, but I don’t really know where to start. The book is easy to follow and read and I would recommend it as a starting point for anyone in a similar position. One thing that has thrown me a bit is the use of dollars as opposed to £ in the book which I wasn’t expecting. I would have preferred the use of £ but it doesn’t detract from the book; it’s just a personal preference. I would recommend the book to my friends and daughter.

As a total newcomer to investing, I found the book a great read. It introduced many different aspects to investing, broadening my knowledge on the subject & helping to give me the confidence to begin my investing journey as a 30yr old woman. I loved the feminist themes of the book & found some of the statistics quite shocking (& very motivating!).

Good for someone who has no idea what investing means. The first part of this book is very basic. I could find the exact same information on a free brochure from Hargreaves
Lansdown. The second part focuses a lot on ethical investment and excludes quite a lot of things.

The book provides a sound understanding of investing and good details on background. I read, ‘Girls that invest’ first and prefer it much more to this. I felt this book played it safe with terminology, making it sure it didn’t lead the reader to making poor financial decisions. Sorry, I wouldn’t be recommending this book.
