I must confess to not having done the main text justice. However, the reference in the Acknowledgements to the late Alistair MacQueen caught my eye. It is really heart warming to see Alistair’s contribution being recognised over ten years after his untimely passing. As another his authors (!) I remember Alistair very fondly and with great respect – he was true gentleman (a visionary and, on a personal level, warm, kind, entertaining and thoroughly decent: he played with an extremely straight bat): the publishing world is much poorer without him.
