How To Grow Your Own Fruit and Veg: A Week-by-Week Guide to Wild-Life Friendly Fruit and Vegetable Gardening
£8.50
Joe Hashman takes you outdoors and ‘in amongst it’ on the vegetable plot where seeds are sown, plants nurtured, fruits tended and crops harvested. The natural history of the garden is noted, too, and delicious and often unusual recipes supplied. With his guidance – and your gardening – your kitchen garden, vegetable patch or allotment will provide you with the good, fresh, honest and seasonal fruit and vegetables that Joe has a passion for. And he will also help you sustain the natural balance of your garden. Employing his own simple, tried and tested methods the author takes the reader week-by-week through the vegetable and fruit growing year.

I read the reviews and wanted one for myself and thought why not so I got this and wow it helped me a lot with my gardens good value and precious now as I keep it in my garden shed with all my other gardening books and it does help you with your fruit and veg issues. I would highly recommend this book even though it is a paperback book but it has all the mod cons and tricks to help you with your fruit and veg gardens and pest control. Good value for money

Contents of this book are great.
Loved the weekly layout for each month, gives a great snapshot reminder of where you should be for sowing, planting, things to watch out for during growing etc etc.
My only reason for losing a star is the awfully thin and cheap soft cover. For a book that is going to be well thumbed throughout the year this is sloppy.
