LADY LEAH – Only child of the Earl all he wants is for his daughter to marry well to enhance his own position, he constantly complainsthat she should be married. (He dislikes her friends and the fact that she is a member of the Spinsters Club which they have formed).
Finally Leah is getting married only one problem the groom does NOT turn up her name is now in all the scandal sheets. HER FATHER MORE DETERMINED TO ARRANGE A MARRIAGE FOR HER.
NATHANIEL – DUKE OF FORBES – A man with secrets of his own lives with his mother and young brother he cares very much for them both and will do anything for them – his is being pressured to marry, by his mother constantly introducing him to young ladies.
He accidentally hears a conversation and decides to act on it, he approaches Lady Leah with a plan which will help them both, they secretly write a contract promising each will help the other achieve what they want only then will the contract come to an end.
SOUNDS EASY – YOU WOULD THINK SO BUT LOTS OF SECRETS – AND INTERFERENCE FROM OTHERS.
I LOVED THIS – THE INTERACTION BETWEEN NATHANIEL AND LEAH IS BRILLIANT BOTH HAVE GREAT PERSONALITY – FOUND MYSELF SMILING AND LAUGHING OUT LOUD.
What I will say is read it – you will not be disappointed..
LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT ONE PLEASE.

Good story, although, I felt the background story for Nathaniel was a bit weak. No errors that I could see. Well done, a flowing story of loss and love.

I enjoyed this story. It is well-written and kept my attention. I liked the way Leah and Nathaniel started out with issues they each had to face. Nathaniel was trying to forget the effect his father had had on his life. Leah had been jilted three years before and was scared it might happen again. They agreed to a fake courtship. Nathaniel showed a soft side to him, despite being a very good boxer. He was kind to his friends and his remaining family. He was protective of Leah when her previous suitor appeared on the scene. Leah’s group of friends, who had all sworn to be spinsters, were very supportive and protective towards her throughout the story. They were friends to be valued. Will they be able to help Leah to find happiness? Will Nathaniel realise he needs to act if he is going to secure his future happiness? Read on and enjoy.
