The book, although written for Australia, was also useful for UK maintenance and operation as well as identifying all PPE. Excellent condition book.

Good basic manual but basic is the word. If you are experienced in chainsaw use you will not learn much from this book.

Whilst the book is useful and describes many essential techniques that would be covered on a Lantra course, it appears that the book is actually Australian and so covers standards which would be applicable in Australia that may or may not be identical in the UK.

Not a full training manual by UK standards but should stop a lot of home log cutters from making grievous mistakes if they read it before pulling that starter cord as well as a good reminder of the basics to more seasoned users.
