   This is a perfect advent calendar book and a perfect way of obtaining 24 new story books. Even though the books are really small they are full stories and similar to the Mr men story collection. We are loving it

   Such a great advent calendar to gift any child.
   Has a mix of Christmas books and regular Mr.Men books
   Books are made very well and has a hard front cover so won’t bend very easily.
   The books a slightly tricky to take out of their slots so child may need some help.

   This Mr Men & Little Miss books advent calender is an excellent and unique way for childrens (and adults!) to count down to Christmas! Well presented as a large hardback style book, it contains 24 pockets within, each one with a mini story book. I like that the books can be kept long afterwards and can be re-read many times over, they are proper little stories as well.

   Fantastic value at less than £12 (at the time of review). Highly recommended.

   I think this calendar of small-sized Mr Men and Little Miss story books is one of the nicest advent calendars I’ve ever seen.

   The calendar comes in a slip case cardboard cover, printed with the same design on the front as on the calendar itself. The calendar itself is formatted as a large-sized hardback book, with 24 little card pockets inside, each holding a story book.

   I hadn’t been expecting that despite their small format size these are (previously published) full length Mr Men and Little Miss novels and not shorter mini novels or abridged versions. 14 of the 24 are Christmas or Winter-themed, with the remaining 10 stories where the Mr Men and Little Miss characters interact with fairy stories, or other characters popular in children’s literature.

   In a lovely touch , the Mr Men and Little Miss The Night Before Christmas is the book nestled in the pocket for the 24th December.

   I really like the durable format of this calendar, and the fact that it can be kept in the bookcase and reused, or put away with the Christmas decorations and brought out in following years.

   I was so pleased with this, I bought another as a present.

   This is a great collection of 24 Christmas-themed Mr Men & Little Miss booklets. the set of 24 is presented in a Christmas-themed advent box, with a story for the 24 days preceding Christmas.

   The stories themselves are a mix of original and “repurposed” stories for children. Simple to read (or be read for young children). But note that the booklets themselves are fairly small.

   If your children are already fans of Mr Men and Little Miss, they’ll enjoy reading these stories. There none of the stories are really outstanding, but they are enjoyable to read and there’s always a moral of the story to be found.

   Perfect gift for my granddaughters advent calendar, books she can read and keep instead of sweets you can eat and never have again
