Isadora is special because she is different. Her mum is a fairy and her dad is a vampire and she’s a bit of both.
Isadora has been invited to a sleepover, which is always fun, but this time it’s even more exciting because she will be staying at her mermaid friend’s house under the sea!
It’s so much fun spending time with her watery friends, but while she’s there Isadora meets a mermaid called Emerald who doesn’t seem to be having such a nice time.
In the middle of the night, when everyone else is fast asleep, Emerald finally reveals to Isadora what has been troubling her. Can Isadora help Emerald sort out her problem? It’s the beginning of an amazing underwater adventure!

Such a fun and imaginative story my 7 year old daughter loved, a great new addition to her Isadora book collection
by Raisingblueeyes
These have very quickly turned into my daughters favourite books ( 7 years ).
She’s ahead at school in Reading so the books she brings home for her year group are only several sentences and she gets bored with them and don’t challenge her
So we moved onto childrens stories, and this keeps her attention and makes her go for a full page of words.
There are a few thrown in there that are difficult but most is perfect for her age,
The.pictures are well drawn and I love the theme. The colours are an amazing idea and makes the book more special especially when it’s get favourite colour!
I love the whole concept of the stories with half fairy and half witch. Can’t wait to add to the collection
Hardback is lovely padded and soft, good quality . Perfect size for little hands and staying paperback style but more protection and safe for long lasting and quality

Loved every single Isadora moon as an adult and reading with my daughter since she was 6, now 9
by Robert Hennah
My daughter is reading this book, she is 6 years old and she absolutely loves it. She struggles with some of the words, I’m unsure if this is because English isn’t her first language or because of her age but this is a positive as she is learning new words every day. There are a few illustrations scattered through the pages breaking up the text and helping to keep her absorbed. I’ve occasionally found my 13 year old daughter guiltily reading the book, to her little sister though of course!

My daughter loves the Isadora Moon series, and lapped this book up. They’re long enough to have a proper story arc and build interest in old and new characters, yet not to the point of being off-putting for children looking to expand their reading skills.
The story also covers topics – friendships, sharing concerns etc – that children of that age-group are likely to experience themselves, so it’s also a useful tool for talking through real life stuff! The illustrations are also very good. Would recommend.

It’s a lovely book with lots of fantasy themes thrown in. Isadora is part fairy and part vampire and is more than excited to visit a mermaid friend undersea! Down there she meets an unhappy mermaid, can Isadora help in this charming adventure?
Fun with nice artwork and ideal for young readers.
