Brilliant little brain puzzle book!
My 8 years old loves the sea (we live on the coast) and all sea creatures and loves to read about them. As it is half term she has a lot of time on her hands and keeps her occupied for hours.
It would be also perfect activity book for road trips and holidays, especially as it is seaside themed.
Format-wise – the book is a paperback in a size smaller than A5. Again this is very handy to use on the go as well as comfortable to hold for little hands.
We were very happy to learn that the National Geographic Kids Puzzle Books are series to match practically any interests: ponies, dinosaurs, space, travel, just to mention few. We will be definitely getting a couple more very soon.

Good book with lots of fun and interesting facts and puzzles to work out. Very educational and enjoyed by our 9 year old.

Firstly I’d suggest having a look at the product’s 6 images because it really gives a good idea about what you’ll get and the high quality that this book is produced to.
My nine year old daughter is fascinated by sea life, initially triggered by the wonderful Steve Backshall television programmes. We’ve just come home from a two week holiday that involved (unfortunately) a five-hour car journey each way and this book has proven to be a brilliant distraction (even over her much coveted iPad!). Some of the tasks she could complete by herself, others, particularly Sudoku, needed an input from her older sister (aged twelve), or an adult; but she loved it and has learned a great deal about under the sea.
It’s likely well be getting the Animals and What in the World versions.
Superb!

This book is bright and cheerful with plenty of pictures and facts about under the sea creatures throughout. It is A5 size which is perfect for taking out and about, and includes 90 pages of puzzles which feels like very good value for money at £5.99.
It is split into chapters such as fabulous fish and super sharks, and in each chapter there are a mixture of wordsearches, mazes, su dokus, word jumbles and spot the differences.
My 7 year old grandson loves under the sea creatures and so this book is the perfect subject matter for him. He enjoyed most of the puzzles and it kept him well occupied for a couple of car journeys. However he needed lots of help with the su dokus and the crosswords, so depending on the child’s educational/puzzling abilities this might suit a child who was slightly older.
