This is an amazing book which both I found fascinating and useful. My nephew loved it! We went to the zoo and had a great time signing the animals. The pictures and delicate and beautifully drawn.

Easy pictures to follow and plenty of signs to learn. Ten year old was able to pick them up and repeat them without any difficulty.

I love this book! It’s by far the easiest way to grow your vocabulary with helpful illustrations. This is great for adults learning level one sign language and also an awesome introduction to BSL for children. A must buy if you’re looking to explore and learn this language!

This is one of the most useful books I own. As a student Learning Disability Nurse, this is invaluable. Everything is easy to follow and although the signs are simple – that is exactly what you need to open the door of communication – to help someone quickly. The fact I can now say AND sign that I am a Nurse – puts a huge smile on may face 🙂 I have shared this book with my entire cohort – its that good!

This is a fantastic and easy way to learn British Sign Language that builds on Joe Jacobs’ excellent Terry the Monkey series of books. As ever the illustration has a lovely quirky retro feel somewhere between Wes Anderson and Edward Gorey. More importantly, Jacobs succeeds in making the educational aspect engaging, accessible and fun for kids and adults alike. Highly recommended!
