I looked forward to getting this book as I have other books in the series, namely Witch’s Garden and The Magic of Mushrooms, which are lovely books. I was a little disappointed with this one. Although it has the usual many wonderful photos, I felt the author was trying to cover far too widely, while the information was very superficial and I didn’t learn anything new on the whole. It is a good basic introduction to the subject.

Bought for my sister who loves plants. We both enjoyed reading it. Easy format with small ‘bites’about lots of trees and plants. Will study it again before we next go to Kew.
