The title of the description says that it’s the only Excel book you’ll need. Reading the author’s introduction on page 2 he says that he’s targeting newcomers and that he’s not going to an expert level. Pity that the presumably Amazon written sales blurb doesn’t say this.
In particular don’t expect this to cover any of the newer charts like treemap, surface or radar. It also doesn’t cover any of the newer features introduced in 2020 such as UNIQUE.
If you’re not an absolute beginner then save yourself some money and download the official Microsoft course for experts 402571A which is better than this book and you can get accredited if you pass the exam. Even that doesn’t cover the new 2020 features. Nothing seems to that you won’t pay through the nose for.

This book says Excel for Dummies, but on attempting to read through, it is more for someone with advanced computer skills and advanced mathematics skills. I can work a computer and understand most windows, word, database and other programs, but Excel was always a sticky subject, hence purchasing a book that I thought would explain in basic terms. I do not think I am a dummy by any means, but this is for smarter people than me or my partner to comprehend.
