I wanted a reference of anaesthetic and associated terminology for my own use, and to help with mentoring student. This book provides a lot of short but relevant explanations and definitions of basic science and anaesthetic principle, which is what I expected from a book with glossary in the title.
What I did not expect was the extra and more in depth explanation which can be found in the glossary section, and in the appendices. There is a lot of useful information in this book. It is like 2 books for the price of one. I think 2 or 3 hours of reading this book has taught more about the subject of anesthetics than 6 months of anaesthetic nurse training.
I am very pleased, it is an excellent buy.

A very helpful and informative book.
Unfortunately the page index is incorrect, which is slightly annoying.
