I would highly recommend this book to all student nurses and registered nurses!! The 1st edition was extremely good; however, this second edition is even better, with greater content, updates to equip me in an ever evolving healthcare system. As a registered staff nurse, I enjoy referring back to this book to keep me ‘on top of my game’. The writing style is brilliant, informative and succinctly presented. A few of my favourite topics include: ‘Accountability and Ethical Decision-Making’, ‘Improving Safety and Quality of Care’ and ‘Leading, Managing and Working in Teams’. The ‘Activities’ throughout the book are helpful and test my understanding.
This book is written by very wise, caring and successful practitioners/educators; all have a vast amount of knowledge!
A great value book and a must have for student nurses and registered nurses!!
