An okay story with power and wealth which, let’s face it, are always attractive. Unusually, though, I find I don’t much like the hero who, for all his prowess at everything else, is downright stupid at handling the heroine. And she is as irritating and weepy as all those preceding her in other stories. I felt that if she ran away just once more I would wreck my bedroom like Ryker.
As usual, Stephanie gets carried away with too much narrative and overlong descriptive passages, and the action suffers as a result. Did she plan to fill the whole book with not a lot so that readers are left frustrated at the end? I always object to being coerced into buying the sequel to anything, if it feels like it was the author’s intention.
And don’t get me started about the typos. For goodness’ sake, Stephanie, sack your proofreader. If I can spot the mistakes instantly, why can’t they?
The jury’s out whether I will be bothered to look for the next episode.

Another great read from Stephanie, she is one of the greatest writers, I have read all her books to date, and never been disappointed with any of them.

This book hocks you in from the first page to the last, Stephanie Hudson is my favourite author and again this book is as good as the rest. Read it and fill in love with Greed.

I loved this book, went so quickly like all of Stephanie’s books and a little frustrating that I have to wait for the conclusion but I know I will enjoy it! As usual a dark, exciting supernatural romance with a link to the Afterlife world but a stand alone story.

So good, actually it’s a phenomenal story, from a master wordsmith and I can’t wait for the conclusion. LSS is my favourite series by Stephanie and with this addition, she compounds upon that feeling. I will not give anything away, I don’t wish to take that from another.
If you’re new to Stephanie’s work, then I say you should read Afterlife series first. The world building is all there for you to immerse yourself in. Then come here and fall into these amazing tales of the Kings Enforcers.
