Dusty Tucker, needs to take a bow. He had single-handedly changed my perspective of blonde MMCs.
“No. You’re a privilege, Cam. Being in your presence is a ******* honor.”
I really enjoyed the fact that Dusty & Cam wasn’t rushed back together, that slow burn chemistry was so good! One of the best second chance romances I’ve read. I loved they were able to be their own person, before relying on each other again. The pacing of this was spot on.
The side characters never fail to offer light hearted humour & perspective too. Good ol’, Amos and his words of wisdom strike again:
“There’s a reason that rearview mirrors are small and windshields are big.”
I could read these characters forever.
This was a perfect conclusion to an amazing series. It’s bittersweet leaving Rebel Blue Ranch but as Lyla Sage said, “Because nothing lasts forever, you know. Not even goodbyes. Welcome home.”

I have loved this entire series—you truly feel like you are part of the Ryder family so it’s almost like you miss them when the series ends!
This book was amazing as the first three, with relatable characters and stories, although personally this one made me cry quite a lot more than the others! Very therapeutic when not in a public setting.
Cant wait to read Lyla’s next book!!!

This was a beautiful way to end the Rebel Blue Ranch series. Dusty and Cam are perfect together. The second Chance vibes were immaculate, these two although they’ve been apart for so long were destined to be together.
I felt like it was a bit slow to start with but it picked up and i honestly love these two.

This was the most beautiful ending to our stay at Rebel Blue Ranch. Cam, the rich girl in town who only ever wanted love and left the only man who loved her. Dusty, ever the wanderer, who never stopped chasing the one thing he always wanted, her.
After a failed wedding leaves her and her daughter homeless, she finds herself in her dream home, the only problem? The next door neighbor is the boy she never stopped loving.
Follow Cam and Dusty’s journey as they navigate their second chance at Rebel Blue Ranch.
I loved Cam’s character so much and related to so many of her big feelings and avoidance tactics. It’s not often I feel represented by FMCs, but Lyla made me feel so seen with Cam. This book had me in tears multiple times and man it is so bittersweet that our time at Rebel Blue is over.
Ready for our journey to Sweetwater Peak🏔️

All I can say is the perfect ending to the Rebel Ranch series. I am so sad that it’s over but so happy that Cam and Dusty’s story was the last one – their story is the perfect ending.
It feels like Lyla Sage poured her heart into this second chance romance. The story flits back and forth between the past and what happened with Dusty and Cam and the present as it all unfolds around them. Their return to friendship and romance. It’s complicated and it’s not straight forward with a lot of emotion but it’s so good.
This is the ultimate second chance romance book. It’s easy to read but I just felt the emotion throughout, it leaps of the page, is completely believable and deep.

The Rebel Blue Ranch series was taking over the top spot in my list of cowboy/small-town romances… until this book.
For me this is the worst in the series by a mile and doesn’t fit into the style and relatability of the other books (they all had some form of representation whereas these guys just existed and complained the whole time) so I’m not even sure why it was written or how it fits in with the others.
There were so many unfinished storylines in this! What happened with her parents? Why was her sister Violet mentioned when we never met her? How was her going home from their trip made into a huge hoohah? (Her internal monologue made it seem like there were multiple instances of heartbreak between them and also a huge act of betrayal.) And what the hell was that 3rd act break-up?!?
I’m feeling rather meh, it was flat with no real plot and I’m being generous with the rating because I enjoyed the other books.
Would I recommend this? No.

I really enjoyed this book especially the flashbacks scenes but lost and lassoed will always be my number one favourite out from the rebel blue series

Storyline
This is the fourth book in the Rebel Blue Ranch series by Lyla Sage. This book is about
Camille aka Cam who is stood up on her wedding day, her world is turnt upside down.
Dusty has been back in town for one year now trying to avoid the girl who was his first, well, everything. But when she moves in next door, newly single, Dusty wants to show her that they can just be friends.
Firstly, I love the cover, I knew from the moment I read the first chapter that I would enjoy this book the most from the series as it has my favourite trope ‘Second Chance Love. I enjoyed Dusty’s character. He was refreshing, caring, loving, understanding, and what Cam needed.
This was an easy cosy read, and I would recommend to readers who enjoy cowboy books and romance

“I knew nothing or nobody actually could be perfect, especially not me. But with Dusty, I felt pretty close to it.”
Reading Wild and Wrangled was bitter sweet. I have come to know and love these characters and it is an end to an era. Cam and Dusty were the perfect pair to end the series with.
The angst between these two people was palpable. I could not stop reading because I wanted to know what happened years ago, why did they break up, and how will they move past it so they can both be happy?
I honestly screamed when I received the book on a Friday afternoon. So my weekend was fully booked. I finished it 48 hours later and shed a little tear.
“You’re a privilege, Cam. Being in your presence is an honor.”
I’m not very partial to blonde mmc’s but in Ada’s words “You don’t have a neck tattoo and a nose piercing and not be good. And don’t even get me started on his little cropped T-shirts.”
Can’t wait to reread the series over and over again.

Some books don’t just tell a story–they feel like a memory. This is definitely one of those.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 (even more, if I could.)
I am a bit speechless. A book of raw and tender love–of longing, nostalgia, everlasting connection and familiar embrace. This one was the closest to my heart. It broke my me and also put me back together in the best way. This is a wonderful and emotional second-chance romance. And a bittersweet goodbye to my comfort series and my second home…
The way Dusty just knows Cam after all those years still brings tears to my eyes. Her habits, her tells, her likes and dislikes like she’s a part of his own being. He is patient, comforting and kind. He doesn’t push. He holds no grudges. He is a steady presence, a shield when necessary. Dusty is officially my favorite in the whole series. WHAT A MAN…
I loved how the book moved between present and past. The flashbacks to who Cam and Dusty used to be were so bittersweet–soft and aching. Then there is the 15 years of yearning, of getting lost in life and drifting apart while you still carry that person deep in your heart. That kind of love doesn’t fade.
And those unsent letters… It crushed me. It hurt me that he wrote them because she was the only person he wanted to always talk to. So he did, even if he knew he would never send them.
Both Dusty and Cam are so precious. I’m so happy about their warm happy ever after. It meant the world to me. 🥹
P.S. I love how he calls her Angel/Ash…

Une série qui se lit toute seule (plutôt intermédiaire dans le niveau d’anglais).

Absolutely stunning end to Rebel blue ranch. I’ll miss the devils boot and its motley crew. Finally getting cam and Dustys story and it’s everything. The feelings, the pining – glorious.

These two were seriously cute and I loved the flashback chapters of what they were like when they were teenagers.
I could feel the angst through the pages and the slow burn was killing me, but I knew that Lyla would deliver the goods.
I read this so fast, and was gutted that I got to the end of the epilogue and the book was finished.
