Wow. I don’t even know what to say. I am still shaking at the ending and I need all the answers and I need them now. @jessa.hastings how can you take my broken heart, heal it and then absolutely crush it again at the end????

Julian & Parks … now this is just not ok. I have always wanted them to be endgame and how can you destroy Julian like that????. I truly have to believe that, after TLWH Julian is going to help Parks heal over Bridget and they end up together over BJ otherwise I’m going to lose it????.I get BJ and Parks and yes they love hard. But the way Julian loves her is just so heartbreakingly beautiful????. He loves her so much he lets her go and that to me is everything.

Daisy has left her old life behind, her home, her family, her love. After 9 months of ‘normal’ life Daisy’s safety is threatened again and she has to return to the compound. Julian is desperate to keep Daisy safe whilst trying not to fall in love with Magnolia Parks. Christian has realised how in love he is with Daisy and is determined to get her back. But when gang members start getting targeted Julian must make you go decisions quickly before someone he loves gets hurt.
My thoughts: I felt all the emotions with this one. I really enjoyed seeing the relationship between Julian and Magnolia through Julian’s eyes. However, I felt like this book was overshadowed by Julian and I would have preferred more of a focus on Daisy and Christian as opposed to Julian and Magnolia. I marked my rating down based on this but I still enjoyed the book!
I no longer trust Jessa Hastings, she has toyed with my emotions and left me on a cliffhanger too often. I love this universe and the characters within it. I can’t believe I have to wait so long for the next instalment

So much to digest. Poor Julian. Poor Daisy. Poor Christian. Poor the lot of them. What a way to leave everyone hanging. And until February 2024?? Please tell me that Magnolia’s 3rd book will be here sooner. I need more now.

The spine is quite obviously creased and theres a black mark on the outside of the pages which makes me think the book has most likely been read and returned, but love this book series

I have loved the magnolia parks series and this book certainly did not disappoint the ending was so good and I am going to struggle to wait for feb for the next book to come out. I started with magnolia parks and with in a week had ordered the next 3 books and read them all. I could not put them down. I love all the characters and the way each chapter is a different character telling their part of the story. I see this book series recommended on tic toc and am so glad I picked it up. Highly recommend if you like romance and gangster I would say it’s for a younger audience than 40 odd years old but I did enjoy it.

Just come to read this now and as I’ve flicked through the book I’ve noticed so many pages covered in what seems to be ink splodges???? some are that covered the pages are unreadable. I understand a possible smudge here and there throughout but so many of the pages are fully covered and the words unreadable.

i love being inside daisy’s head, the footnotes—equal parts genius and hilarious, i adore the detail jessa pours into these books! i love julian haites with my whole life, this man is literally the love of my life; he could literally do no wrong in my eyes, even though he does plenty wrong.
the ending was heartbreaking, these people can never catch a break! so many emotions, and i loved seeing the events of long way home from the pov of daisy, christian and julian. i’m so attached to this characters and world, jessa’s writing is incredible—the way she’s able to make you feel every emotion is insane. her words are magic, and i’m grateful for this world.
i may never love a fictional man as much as i love julian haites and this kinda scares me. very excited for the next book, the release date (whenever that may be) can not come soon enough!! i lose sleep reading books in this series, it consumes me; and i’m totally okay with it!
