A COMPLETE MANUAL & USER GUIDE ON THE DJI MAVIC 3 PRO
A triple-camera system, which takes the place of the dual-camera system found on the Mavic 3’s predecessor, is the standout feature of the Mavic 3 Pro. Similar to the iPhone camera tool, it is controlled by a single tap to switch between cameras (1x, 3x, and 7x). The Mavic 3 Pro’s triple camera setup enables users to quickly swap between shot compositions, giving content producers access to more shots in a shorter amount of time than ever before. We’re eager to explore how people will employ drones to change how viewers perceive distance and space. Although DJI has always provided drones with the capacity to monitor moving objects, avoid obstructions, and detect collisions, the Mavic 3 is where this technology-initiated advancement began. The 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad camera from the Mavic 3 Series is carried over into the Mavic 3 Pro. This camera is capable of 5.1K at 50 frames per second or DCI 4K at 120 frames per second and 12-bit RAW photo capture. With the new 10-bit D-Log M color mode, you may record up to a billion different colors while also achieving more natural color gradations and simpler color grading. Aside from that, Apple ProRes 422 HQ, Apple ProRes 422 and Apple ProRes 422 LT encoding are all supported by the three cameras that make up the Mavic Pro 3 Cine. A 1TB SSD and a 10Gbps lightspeed data connection are also incorporated into the drone.Read more

How to Tell If Your Cat Is Plotting to Kill Youis a very funny, creative selection of comics, facts, and instructional guides, which all stem from the creative wonderland at TheOatmeal.com.The book will be designed to create suspense/anticipation with page turns analogous to the experience of scrolling down through the panels on the website. For example, “Cat vs. Internet” will use page turns to draw out the reader’s anticipation of what the crafty kitty might do next to get attention from his Internet-fixated owner. Other favourite cat comics include “How to Pet a Kitty,” “The Bobcats,” and “17 Things Worth Knowing About Your Cat.” A pull-out poster will be included at the back of the book.

This title was superseded by the 2018 Edition of the same name, which is now available on Amazon and other online booksellers. If you purchased this version, send proof of purchase to janozer@gmail.com and I’ll send you a free PDF copy of the update ($29.95 value). Note that the changes in the book are concentrated, with new sections on Bento4 in Chapters 10 and 12, and several new sections on live transcoding and AV1 encoding in Chapter 14. Otherwise, most of the book is the same, so having a physical copy of the old edition and a PDF of the new should not be a hassle. Note that if you wait and buy a physical copy of the new edition, you won’t get a PDF copy.
This focused 120-page book teaches readers how to use FFmpeg to create full adaptive bitrate ladders and package them into HLS or DASH formats. The book also includes a primer on terms and technologies related to streaming and recommended settings for all parameters detailed in the book.
Initial chapters focus on installing FFmpeg on Windows, Mac, and Linux computers, and basics of command-line programming. Then the technology primer, and individual chapters on bitrate control, resolution, frame rate, I-, B-, P- and reference-frame settings. These are followed by chapters on H.264 and HTTP Live Streaming (HLS), which includes instruction on Apple tools Media File Segmenter, Variant Playlist Creator, and Media Stream Validator. Also covered is encoding for DASH with MP4Box. Next up are chapters on encoding HEVC with x265, and producing VP9, with the final chapter covering miscellaneous operations like concatenating multiple files, or computing PSNR with FFmpeg.
A downloadable zipped file includes all (Windows) batch files used in the book, which you can easily adapt for your own use, and a detailed Table of Contents and Index will help you find what you need. All these contents ensure that you’ll be able to Learn to Produce Videos with FFmpeg in 30 Minutes or Less.

Murach’s HTML and CSS: Training & Reference
Until now, my websites looked great but have been coded with what seems like duct-tape and bubble-gum’ methods, just for appearances and not for professionalism or compliance. This book taught me all that is possible with HTML and CSS coding. What a game changer! That’s what one web designer posted about a previous edition of Murach’s HTML and CSS. Now, this 5th Edition updates and improves all the HTML and CSS content in the book…and it’s in full color so it’s easier than ever to learn from it. In fact, whether you’re a web designer, a JavaScript programmer, a server-side programmer, or a rookie, this book delivers all the HTML and CSS skills that you need on the job. This book begins with an 8-chapter hands-on course that teaches you HTML and CSS from scratch, including the latest HTML and CSS features. This short course ends with a chapter that teaches you how to use fluid design and media queries to implement Responsive Web Design so your pages will look good and work right on any screen, from phone to tablet to desktop. After that, the unique design of this book lets you go on to any other chapter to learn new skills whenever you need them. For example, chapters 9 and 10 show you how to use Flexible Box and Grid Layout. Chapter 13 shows you how to work with forms and data validation. Chapter 14 shows you how to enhance a site with video clips. Chapter 15 shows you how to use CSS transitions, transforms, and animations. Chapters 16 and 17 show you how to design and deploy a website. And chapter 18 introduces you to JavaScript, a must-have language that’s the next step for many web developers. One final point: After teaching you all the HTML and CSS skills that you need, this book becomes the best on-the-job reference you’ve ever used.Read more
