I’ve only just recieved this book but there so many dishes I can’t wait to try. I’ve made alot of Kwoklyn’s recioes from other books and every one has been delicious. I can’t wait to make loads of these recipes there’s a great range of dishes to try in here you couldn’t fail to find something for whatever you’re in the mood for. The books separated into 6 main chapters
Soups and snacks
Vegetables
Seafood
Meat
Chicken and duck
Noodles and rice
They’re simpler recipes than some of his books so ideal for quicker prep and cooking if you havent got a long time but I know they’ll deliver on taste. There’s plenty favourites in here bit more unusual recipes like Taiwanese style omelette with gravy, canton lamb and onions, minced beef and tomatoes, Mongolian chicken, Eight treasures tofu, crab rice and Spam fried rice ! I am going to have to get some of the sauces and condiments online but that’s not a problem I can’t wait to cook my way through the book.

This is a thoroughly great book written buy a guy who really knows his noodles !!
The food is so well photographed I can’t stop reading it having got it today
I had to write a shopping list as I’m making several recipes tomorrow as I’m so inspired

Bought a copy for my daughter as well. We have cooked meals from the book several times and have been delighted with the results. Of course not all ingredients can be sourced locally but the more obscure can be found online and well worth it.

Amazing simple cooking techniques. I am a Chinese andI I know preparing Chinese dishes take a lot of time and is not fun. But I was blow away by how simple chef Wan make all these recipes so easy to cook. I even cooked some dishes for my friends and received so many thumbs up ????. My secret weapon –
