Held my attention from the first page to the end. Difficult to leave down , wanting to know what was going to happen. Greatly enjoyed the cameraderie among the characters.

This is an excellent read. The hopelessness that affects all of the detectives when murder after murder is committed with the killer leaving no evidence, dna or witnesses. Their mental trauma and frustration is evident to the reader who, turning page after page as the situation develops, becomes at one with the crime team willing for the killer to make a mistake… but he doesn’t; he is a ruthless cruel psychopath who enjoys killing and filming the act on video glasses to taunt the police with. This is especially targeting Lindsay, to whom he sends mails and video clips of his deeds( his route into the police) and her friend Cindy who has written a book in association with Evan Burke a previous killer now in San Quentin who was convicted of multiple murders and caught by Lindsay’s team. Cindy is eventually kidnapped by the killer and the chase is on to find her safe and trap her treacherous killer This is James Patterson and Maxine Paetro at their very best and is highly recommended. I really enjoyed it

Fabulous as usual from Mr Patterson. Good plot. Very enjoyable.
10 out of 10 for class story. Loved this book.

This is the 23rd Book in the Women’s Murder Club Series written by Maxine Paetro for the James Patterson Club essentially she is a ghost writer for James Patterson, who takes all the glory for the thousands of books written under his name
Another wonderful story by Maxine Paetro. In this story Detective Lindsey Boxer has just put serial killer Evan Burke in prison. Cindy Thomas was asked to write his bestseller, which has become a number one hit.
A copycat killer is rein acting Evan Burke’s murders and is enjoying sending videos of his kills to the baffled police who have no clues to who he is.
The case becomes personal when Cindy Thomas is kidnapped. Will Lindsey Boxer solve the case?, will they catch the killer?, is he somehow involved with Evan Burke?
We you will just have to buy the book yourself and find out!!

I have just read this having read all the others, it was good but probably not the best one of the series

James Patterson at his very best. The Women’s Murder Club series is excellent; unputdownable; fast paced and a real roller coaster ride. Every book is an absolute Gem of twists and turns, with great characters. If you’ve ever wondered whether or not to read these books, stop wondering and start reading. You will not be disappointed.

I normally give James Patterson’s books (co-written or otherwise) five stars but I found this one a little disappointing.
I still enjoyed it overall, interesting plot and characters but there were quite a few plot holes, which took down my enjoyment a few notches.
