I think Jamie hit on a great idea for this book as it makes it so easy to cook just for one and still have delicious meals with little time wasted.

As a mad keen home cook I have loads of cook books from all the well and not so well known chefs. I have quite a few of Jamie’s and was eager to get my hands on this one!
It’s a typical Jamie Oliver Cookbook – nicely put together – very easy to understand – dead easy to follow the well written recipes and he provides us with a nice colour photograph of how the finished dish should look. Not that it always does in my case!
Each left hand page shows you the 5 ingredients down the left side and has the nutritional info along the bottom. The right hand page is a full colour photograph of the finished dish. Really plain and easy to follow.
I have already made the Asian Fried eggs which were delicious and I’m making the Nutty Kale Salad for my dinner in work tonight.

There’s nutritional notes at the back of this book in regards to how to balance your plate with Veg and Fruit – carbs – Proteins – Dairy – fats and Oils.
I really like this one from Jamie. It’s clear, concise and very easy to follow. As somebody who grows theIr own veg I found there’s loads of good veggie options in here too. Loving the egg dishes in here as well. I think I’ll be buying a few for christmas for foodie freinds.
