This book was amazing.
Not only having brilliant art work and interesting snippets of history and how integral all of these people are to queer history and how they change the world – through movements or law changes but it also included powerful quotes from all of the people.
My two favourites being:
“rights are won only by those who make their voices heard”-Harvey Milk
and
“If you want know who the oppressed minorities in America are, simply look at who gets their own shelf in the bookstore”- Armistead Maupin.
This book is suitable for all ages and covers every part of the LGBTQIA+ spectrum highlighting that true pride is inclusive to all.
