Pages to record camera settings and a one liner for a picture idea. No inspiration, no ideas – a paragraph for each challenge would have at least made something of it.

Instead do this: Buy an A5 notepad (square paper to look technical) take remaining money to the pub and buy a beer for somebody who give you photo inspiration and write them in the book.

Lesson learnt – read the reviews before buying!

Some really good ideas but they probably would have used 4-5 pages. The book is essentially 52 ideas for subjects to photograph with a few details to further expand the topic. The rest of each page is essentially blank to record details of settings, weather etc and an opposite page to fix a printed photo.. Might be good to accompany a present of a first camera to someone but you are essentially buying a notebook with 52 ideas.

Only just got this book so these are my initial thoughts .I Was really looking forward to this book arriving but was very disappointed when I saw contents. It’s just a journal with space for you to fill cheap quality and layout more a school excercise book .It does have 52 themes for you to make the most of so it does as title suggests. The book is very paperback so be prepared for the book to possible bend the photos and would be surprised if after cramming 52 photos it will close properly.More importantly it’s not quality and it won’t make your photos look anything special in years to come .you should be proud of your photographs and be something you enjoy having and showing.

Saying all this I will still give it a go lockdown makes us all try and break the boredom.I could do themes store on computer and try and make the most of it.I don’t have photographic paper nor up market copier am surprised others have given it so many stars.

This is a ridiculous con! Nothing of substance at an immensely inflated price! Nearly every page has close to identical content. They could have sold a single page and asked the reader to alter the top line of each!
Even one star is far to high a rating for this so-called book. I suspect that it is deemed a book because it is contained within a book cover?

I totally regret buying it as a birthday present for someone.
