I really enjoyed this story. Duke Jacob and Lady Louisa were caught together and had to wed to protect Louisa’s reputation. Neither wanted to marry but agreed that they would stay together for a week. At first, their relationship was cold and Louisa could not understand what was wrong. What was Jacob hiding? Why was he finding it hard to be near Louisa? Circumstances change and they find the reason for Jacob’s fears. This leads to an understanding between them and Jacob realises that he can relax and enjoy happiness with his wife. The story is well-written and kept my interest.
