A book that came highly recommended. It arrived quickly and in good conditions (no wrinkled or bashed corners which can often happen with a large paperback). An interesting read.

Great book to provide both practitioner and student with insight into both attachment and development processes. Arrived promptly and at sold at a very reasonable price. Couldn’t ask for more.

Fantastic book – I have recently joined a placements team and have found it invaluable to my work. I’m also a psychology student and a parent and can see the value of the book in those domains too.

This book is fascinating to read. It’s rich in its context, and at the same time, easy to read. Although I’m still making my way through this book, I’m left feeling very informed.

Half way through. An essential guide for anyone in Social Work. For once, a well thought out and easy to read book!

A very good read, not too heavy and was interesting. The age and development chart was a good guide but did disagree with the statement that by age 3-4 years a child can normally do little errands near the house and by 4-5 years can go errands in the neighbourhood. There is no way on this earth that I would ever send a child of these ages out to do this even in 1970’s years!! so don’t know whether the incorrect wording was used in the book for “errands” other than this it was very good.
