A Deal with the Devil: Brother’s Best Friend Dark High School Romance (Boys of Preston Prep Book 2)
£3.30
The Devil Hides in Plain Sight…
He was my childhood crush. I was his best friend’s little sister.
I had no idea that when I got into a stolen car with Reynolds McAllister, it would cause me a lifetime of pain.
Physical.
Emotional.
Chemical.
There’s no escaping my injuries from that night. I can cover the scars, but the limp in my leg is a constant reminder of what he did to me. The law may have punished him for his crime, but there’s only one thing that’s managed to help me function; a steady, addictive stream of painkillers.
Stealing is what Reyn McAllister does. Objects, cars, hearts.
Or I did, until I was sent away for breaking Vandy Hall.
I spent three long, hard years paying for my crime; first at juvie, then at military school. It wasn’t nearly long enough, but now I’m returning home to Preston Prep and to my childhood home next door to the girl I never meant to hurt.
It should be easy for us to avoid one another. We have nothing in common, except her brother and a single tragic night. But, when an opportunity arises at Preston to revive the Devils, we make a deal that will seal our fate once and for all.
Sometimes, the person you know the best is the one who’s hurt you most.
A Deal with the Devil is a standalone novel in the Boys of Preston Prep series; an angsty, brother’s best friend, dark romance by USA Today Best-Selling Author, Angel Lawson and Samantha Rue.

A good story Two Teenagers dealing with a big trauma that changes their lives and family’s . But I dropped a star because for me the story was too long . Way to !omg . There was plenty going on in the story but after 300 pages I was getting a bit fed up and was ready for some conclusion to the story .

It’s now after midnight but I had to finish this book. Reyn and Vandy have the sweetest relationship and this makes you wish you had Reyn as your ‘first’. Brilliant read, loving this author. Highly recommended

A slower burn than the rest of the series but still a fantastic read and couple goals for sure! Read it.

Loved this brothers best friend romance. Both Reyn and Vandy were drawn together as children and one prank cost them both a lot but they were still drawn to each other later on. Brilliant story!

I haven’t been this engrossed in a story for a while. I’m not sure if the rest of these books is going to match up because this one has set the bar high!
So this is book 2 in a series of stand alone’s. And it’s beautiful. It’s the right amount of angst and twist and turns. And it’s… mine now.
Reyn – he’s so tormented by past mistakes ???? and
Vandy – has so much more to give, she isn’t the girl that was hurt before. I wanna know more about them all. The Devils ???? Elvatio Infernum ????

Just adored Vandy and Reyn’s story. It was full of angst but quite sweet as well despite some hard issues being written about. We also saw an insight into Emley and his feelings. Off to read the next book.
