I enjoyed this story. It is well-written. Leonard and Marina had known each other for some years but had always argued. Leonard had a past relationship with Adelaide but that was over when she ran off with a footman. Leonard owns a print shop and some unpleasant remarks were printed in the gossip column. Marina goes to the shop to find out who wrote the gossip and meets Leonard there. From then, their relatioship develops because Leonard agrees to help Marina to discover the writer. Both Leonard and Marina had been pressured to marry, by their doting mothers. To avoid this pressure, they agree to a fake courtship. Will Marina discover the writer of the slanderous gossip? Will Leonard be able to convince Marina of his feelings for her? Will Lady Adelaide ruin their plans? Read on and enjoy.

This book is full of wonderful characters and makes sure you feel good. Marina and Leonard have without realising it been fighting an attraction for each other that when they decide to look for the writer of the gossip column gives way to love.

LADY MARINA – A Considerate and kind young lady avoids scandal at any cost, she rushed down every morning to be the first to read the Gossip Column before anyone else she loves it, only today she is the subject of the column.I
LEONARD MARQUES OF WOODWORTH – had been friends with Marina since children (although they argue a lot), he also owns the print shop where the column is printed. Marina asks for his help by giving her the writers name. Unfortunately they are anonymous he had no idea.
LEONARD knows Marina does not deserve this so he came up with a plan – WILL SHE ACCEPTED IT ?
I LOVED THIS, GREAT STORYLINE THERE are A FEW SURPRISES IN STORE FOR THEM.
LOVED FIRST BOOK THIS FOR NOT DISAPPOINT OH YES ABSOLUTELY LOVED LEONARD.
I RECEIVED AN ARC for honest review.
