I really enjoyed this story. Lady Emma and her sisters were wards of their very cruel grandfather, a Duke. One night, when he is very drunk, they manage to escape. They travel to their uncle’s house and pretend that their grandfather has sent them for the season. During their stay, they meet Duke Henry. He realises they are frightened and decides to protect them. However, Emma’s grandfather threatens them and plots to kidnap them. Will the sisters be safe? Will Duke Henry be able to protect them all? Will Emma’s grandfather be able to capture them so all is lost? Will the sisters be able to find happiness. Read on and enjoy.

I read Hanna’s books as part of her ARC team, unfortunately there are many mistakes that have been missed by her proof readers. If you like a good story with a happy ending well worth reading just cringe at the errors.

Mostly good, though the heroine’s stupidity is irritating. But the end is drawn out to no clear purpose
