Orla Kiely has opened her archives to explore a life dedicated to print. From her earliest and most iconic pattern, Stem, to the evolution of her print design encompassing the worlds of fashion, homewares and beyond, Orla shares the full range of patterns and designs that she has produced since establishing her brand in 1995.
This is a celebration of Orla’s entire body of work – of colour, of print and of a handbag loved by women all over the world.

This book is a must-buy for any person with a passion for Orla Kiely designs. The book documents her inspirations and designs over the decades. The illustrations are beautiful, and you can spend hours getting lost in the world of Orla Kiely. A very enjoyable read.

This book is a nice book for the coffee table or as a gift. Lovely images and colours, really interesting details and inserts of text. Great for anyone interested in art, print or textiles. It shows her designs throughout the years as well as information on certain prints and why they’ve been successful. Not a lot of writing in this, but lots of lovely big images which i personally prefer. However if you are looking for more of a biography on her work/life maybe this isn’t the one for you.

This book did actually make me happy, it is great to find out about someone with such a passion for craft. Like everyone I was aware of Orla’s Stem pattern and was perhaps a bit tired of it, but she has produced so, so much more wonderful work and in such a lot of areas too – clothes, bags, homewares, wallpaper, even shoes! An inspirational book for any design student or enthusiast, and beautifully produced too. A treat.

This book is now 2 years old but the designs are as fresh and timeless as ever – lots of little personal anecdotes from Orla and friends. This is a great ideas book – also gives you a clue-in about designs you may have missed. I love the way her style encompasses homeware as well as fashion & accessories.
