This is a superbly illustrated guide to the snakes of SE Asia. I have the first edition and i have been comparing the two. This edition is surely the ultimate now for its updated info and pictures. The venomous snakes have vital info on availability of anti-venom and where it can be obtained. As a field guide it is superb but- I would love to see a larger version published as the photographs alone would benefit from being larger.

I find this book of particular interest because although I have been involved with keeping Snakes for over 40 years there are so many species in this book I have never heard of. I found it quite a surprise. An excellent book in my opinion.
