There is no argument over content, its all here, however I personally felt the delivery was abrupt and at times unclear. Some of the methods were also ‘non-classical’ which does not aid a new joiner to the Quant field. If you’re mathematics is excellent and you simply want some familiarity of whats coming up question-wise, this may be a good text. However if you need some help on the theory, there are in my opinion better texts.

Note: This is a first edition and there are some issues. Worth noting before you spend.

I have read 4 or 5 books on quant interviews and I have done well when interview time came. This book is my favourite in terms of its content. The problems range from easy to very difficult but the solutions are clear and it’s possible to learn a lot from it. Many problems are beatiful.

Unfortunately the design is lacking – poor quality overall, solutions presented right after the problems so it’s hard to not have a glimpse, no index at the end. I have opted for 5 stars anyway because the content is what matters most.

This book offers the needed introduction to quant interviews, with insightful comments. You can then get the gist of the problems asked and find similar problems on your own.

This book has become a classic. It is a valuable source of questions and it gives some good guidance on methods to approach and solve them. It is certainly valuable, but I still prefer other texts such as Joshi and Stefanica

Great content.. Great for interviews as per fit for purspose.
Although it looks fastly photo copied and hurriedly heat binded. Not sure if that’s how it’s intentionally been published? I’m usually very critical with checking my purchases before hand, but I was in a big rush to get this for interview prep over the 2016 Christmas.

The book content is great which made its name in interviews. However the print quality is so bad that it feels like someone printed the pages themselves and bind them without a publisher and sell it straight away. The dices on the front page are truly blurry, thought it was problem with the product page, but it was.

Some formulas were printed blurry even in text.

The quality of the scan of the pages of the book is very poor, but the content itself is excellent and well worth going through to get a taster of the sort of questions that can be expected

Some mistakes but still a great resource for revision.
