This book is just fabulous in how the content is explained and presented – entertaining and so easy to read and understand. I found the content interesting personally, but had also given it to my Dad (an experienced psychologist and psychotherapist) for his opinion, and he also rated it very highly in all aspects including the content itself.

In some way this book revives the fortunes of Emotions which, I believe, are a victim of those icons of our screen oriented times: Emojis and animated Gifs. Whereas the latter major on the shallow familiarity of the one hit wonder this handy easy read book seems to promise to fulfil its objectives in a variety of practical cases.
An example of the breadth of this work is the quality of the entry on the (related) fashionable term of late: anxiety. The exercises are engaging and would be a winning addition to any therapists armoury. I would offer that other professions would benefit with this text on their shelves, particularly teachers majoring on wellness of their charges who need some practical, helpful charges.
