This is a fantastic book. We leave it open in the hall and open it to the dated page every morning. Each time we walk past it we can look at the new picture. It is well produced and well worth the money. A very good buy

Nice little book which I find sits nicely on a book stand in the hallway, exposing the kids each day to a new piece of art. On the opposite page of each painting is a quote – and these are a lovely addition. I’d gladly have a bigger version though, so it could make a bigger impact.

The media could not be loaded.

I was given this book as a present last Christmas. Now, more than 6 months later, it’s still on my desk (sitting on a little bookstand), and I’m still loving it.

Every day there’s a picture – sometimes it’s the whole work of art, sometimes it’s a small detail of a larger picture (in which case there’s usually a miniature of the full work on the opposite page). The facing page also contains some blank lines to add anniversaries, birthdays, etc., and a quotation. Sometimes it’s an art related quote from the artist whose work is displayed that day, sometimes it’s just related to the subject matter of the picture.

Everything’s here, from the earliest days of art up to the more recent. Every kind of subject matter too.

I’m not a very good video-maker, but I’ve tried to give you a similar experience to picking up the book in a shop and browsing through it.

Anyway, I love it to bits, and highly recommend it.

Diets, exercise regimes, New Year’s Resolutions – they all fail to last, but this book is giving me daily pleasure months later – and will for years to come.

I saw it in a museum shop in Boston and given airline baggage weight restrictions it was no casual consideration I gave to bringing it home. I’m very glad I did. I bought one for my sister’s house too.

The instant I picked it up and realised what it was – a perpetual calendar – I was hooked. I bought a small easel for it and it now sits on the hall table, at the heart of the house and my wife and I vie for the pleasure of turning over each new day to see what image is there. The best thing is we’ll be turning the same pages year after year.

A bit like getting the old Christmas decorations out each year, this book is fast becoming a cherished family tradition.
