To put this into context; from many educational books I have read, this is the only one that I have felt the need to write such a scathing review due to the unbelievable number of mistakes and innaccuracies. Many answers are vague and misleading. So much so that I frequently have to go back to my ATPL notes to fact check the information and then I have to try and forget the wrong information that I have just read in this book. At best, it’s a useful collection of potential interview questions but do not even bother reading the answers provided. Read the questions and if you can’t answer them, look at your official ATPL notes for a professional and correct answer.

This book instantly became my new aviation bible. There are questions you never even considered which is eye opening and the answers are great. This book also serves as a great study method as well. My confidence increased greatly after finishing this book. A must buy for any aspiring commercial pilot.

Been around for ages but a great book for any pilot regardless of experience. An essential item for the bookcase.

Generally good sound information but needs bringing up to date and a few errors correcting. More diagrams would be helpful.

Absolutely covers all the knowledge in just the right amount of detail you’d require to answer questions in an interview, used it successfully for an airline interview in 2020. Good Luck!

I purchased this book on recommendation from others in preparation for an upcoming technical assessment with a U.K. based airline. After the 1st chapter, the amount of knowledge that I’d remembered from years ago, new ways of explaining these facts and broadening my own knowledge on areas I hadn’t encountered before. Most importantly though, this book enabled me to walk into that assessment with confidence in my own ability and that simply is worth the price and more. I’ve now secured my first pilot job, and it was thanks to this book!

Highly recommended for all those things you probably forgot from ATPL ground school. Useful for a bit of quick/ concise revision.
