This book opens up people’s eyes and minds to sufferers and their direct family members/carers about the daily struggles they face and have faced since the brain injury. Kevin Foy was an amazing specialist and was a major part of my partners rehabilitation and we were so pleasured to have met and received his care. We were very upset when he left the Walton Centre, however, we hope he carries on assisting other survivors with his empathetic nature, a truly amazing man. We could not thank him enough.

A must have for anybody who has an ABI or their friends and family! Really clear and concise information. I’m in rehab for a severe TBI and unfortunately here in Ireland, the resources just aren’t there but this book is an excellent source to have and to delve in and out of. I’ve learned more from the first five chapters then I have in 2 years of outpatient rehab. Sad but true. Thank you Dr Foy.
