This book will help young listeners and readers, to grasp a bit the difficult bits of coping with moving on from temporary accommodation to a more stable and hopefully longer stay. Well written.

My children (aged 5 and 6) love this book. It explains the concept of adoption and the process, has very pretty illustrations that show diverse families and uses language that is appropriate and easy to understand for children (with a little help my 5 year old can read it on her own). The book gives a very balanced view, includes pretty much every possible scenario (adoption of a baby / an older child, same-race /transracial adoption, national /international adoption, etc) and has just the right amount of information. Highly recommended!
