Born in Kent, Annie Soudain spent her early childhood years in Truro, Cornwall, where her interest in plants and nature began. Now settled by the sea in Sussex, much of her work continues to be inspired by the beautiful landscapes surrounding her. This colourful linoprint was created using the reduction method, which involves progressively cutting, inking up, and printing from the same block. The picturesque scene was taken from the view across the field overlooking Rye Bay in Hastings Country Park.

The jigsaw itself is gorgeous.
It was a Xmas pressie, so I’m hoping all the pieces are there when my Dad completes it.
However, it arrived in just its plastic wrap.
Luckily, it wasn’t too wet and damaged, which was more by luck than judgement, I think.
A thick paper, postal bag would be a much better idea.

Possibly the most difficult jigsaw that I have ever done, and it took me almost 4 months to complete it. However I really enjoyed the challenge, and it was very satisfying to see it finished.

This Annie Soudain jigsaw puzzle is very difficult but very addictive. Probably one of my most difficult puzzles ever but very enjoyable. Good quality pieces and comes with a poster which gives a lot more detail than the box lid. A really good buy.

Despite some bad reviews concerning supply, poor quality and missing pieces, I decided to take a chance on this jigsaw (foxgloves and finches) as it is a lovely picture and very inexpensive. Well, it arrived within 4 days in a very sturdy, good quality box and well packaged. There is a full picture of the completed puzzle in the box. It is quite challenging but I have completed it and there are no missing pieces. I am delighted with the service and the puzzle.

With all those similar textures, we found this one quite a challenge, so if you like tough jigsaws, go for it.

My wife and I love a jigsaw puzzle and will sit for about an hour mid-morning with a cup of tea and chill before heading off to do what needs doing. We are fans of Colin Thompson jigsaws but have almost all of the 1000 piece jigsaws he has created. So we thought what next.
This was our choice. We thought it might be tricky and it was. It is not the hardest in the world, but I would not recommend it to a novice just after something that will not tax the brain cells to much. We enjoyed doing it in the end. My only criticism would be that the quality of the bits is not quite as good as some other jigsaw companies. On the other hand the quality of the image is good and this and the others in this range are priced well. Some jigsaws are getting expensive. We will buy more from this range so that’s a good sign I think.

We enjoyed doing this complex jigsaw and we’re careful not to lose any pieces when unpacking the box. From the start we realised that 4 edge pieces were missing and once completed discovered that one centre pieces was missing (see attached photo).
