    This is a great book for helping teens with anxiety, it’s an easy read with helpful tips and explanations in understanding anxiety. I got it to try as I like to have a mix of material to use in my CBT practice to be able to recommend to clients, this book has made the list! It doesn’t have to be read in one go, you can dip in and out, or have a binge read and you won’t be disappointed!

    I bought this for my 14 year old as he suffers with his mental health and struggles daily with some social anxiety and PTSD. I thought this would help him as he struggles to speak out about what troubles him. Being able to write down his thoughts and issues in each section of this book rather than vocalising them has been a game changer. Lots of tips and advice which is helping him to understand how to deal with his daily struggles.
    Would highly recommend to adolescents (and parents of) who are struggling with anxiety.

    This book was just what was needed for my 15 year old daughter. She really struggles with anxiety and overthinking and this book has helped her to understand her thoughts and learn some coping techniques. As a parent I have struggled to know what to do for the best. But I have read this book too and it has given me a better understanding on how I can help her. The format is really good and easy to read and thankfully kept her attention. Thank you to the writer.

    Purchased for my daughter who was struggling during Covid. It is written in easy to understand terms without being patronising to the reader. There are some very useful exercises and tips to try which really helped my daughter. We have both recognised a huge improvement in her anxiety since reading the book together and I think it is mostly due to the book explaining the reasons behind anxiety and normalising it rather than the individual feeling they are alone. I highly recommend this to anyone who is seeking a way to help their anxious child as it was reassuring to both parent and child.
